About Coral Reef Club

The Coral Reef Club, owned and operated by the O'Hara family for more than 40 years, is considered one of the Caribbean's most charming properties.

This beautiful cottage-style resort was designed with privacy and comfort in mind, situated in 12 acres of tropical gardens on a long, white sandy beach on the sheltered West Coast of Barbados. This breathtaking setting together with the outstanding service of the well-trained staff, create an atmosphere of warmth, tranquility and elegance. The resort?s 88 rooms, cottages and suites are set amidst the flowering gardens, and each is beautifully designed and decorated with great taste and Caribbean flair.

The hotel temporarily closes on 22th May until 21nd July 2010.

DRESS CODE:

Year round - elegantly informal. No shorts or T-shirts in the restaurant in the evening. Christmas night & New Years Eve Black Tie or Jacket & Tie requested.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR PERIOD:

There is a minimum stay requirement of 14 nights between 18 December and 04 January with no arrivals between 25 December and 02 January

Hotel Accommodation
Garden accommodation consists cottages and rooms, each with King or Twin beds, private bathroom and patio or balcony. Garden or Pool View.

Garden Room - Single contains a double bed. (A few of these rooms are interconnecting.)

Junior Suites:
Superior Junior Suite are located in the gardens overlooking beautiffuly landscaped gardens and pathways.

Luxury Junior Suites have large king size or twin beds, with sitting area, luxurious bathroom and large patio or balcony. Garden or Ocean View. (A few of these rooms are interconnecting.)

Luxury Cottages/Suite:
All consist of king or twin beds, with separate dressing room, suitable also as a room for an extra adult or up to 2 small children, en suite bathroom, and large terrace. Upstairs units have a plunge pool and the ground floor have a rock plunge pool. Garden, Pool or Ocean View. (A few of these rooms are interconnecting.)

Luxury Plantation Suites:
The four Luxury Plantation Suites are exquisite accommodations. They consist of a bedroom with a four poster or canopied bed, a spacious living room, a dressing area and a large bathroom with a big walk in shower and separate tub - all air-conditioned. There is a large covered terrace and open sundeck area with a pool - 12 feet long x 9 feet wide.
Features include a large sattellit television and video player in the living room, a CD player and a selection of CD's and videos, a fax machine and a complimentary starter bar. These suites all have views of the sea and accommodate two adults. Three of these suites have king beds and one can convert from a king to twin beds, if required.

Hotel Children Information

> Coral Reef Club is a children friendly hotel, except during period 15 Jan - 15 Mar where children under 12 years old are not permitted.
> No children under 5 years old allowed in the restaurant or lounge after 7:00pm.
> Children under 16 years old cannot occupy a room alone.
