About Accra Beach Hotel & Resort

Accra Beach Hotel and Resort is centrally located on the beautiful South Coast. This elegant Hotel sits on one of the island's most spectacular beaches - a stretch of soft, white sand that is home to the gentle Caribbean Sea.
At the edge of the beachfront, the Resort's pool has its own shallow bank for lounging, as well as a hidden cave, hot tub and tanning amphitheatre. Just a short distance from the Grantley Adams International Airport and the picturesque capital city of Bridgetown.
Poolside drinks are available at the Lagoon Bar and the Fig Tree Snack Bar offers light gourmet meals. Accra Beach Resort has a fully equipped gym, one squash court, an open-air dance floor, plus the resort is affiliated with the Barbados Golf Club. Listen to cool jazz in the air-conditioned Sand Bar, enjoy a sumptuous dinner overlooking the beach in the Coco Patch Restaurant or dine in artsy elegance in the Wytukai Restaurant, the only Polynesian Restaurant on the island.

Accra offers 122 beautifully furnished, air-conditioned rooms and suites, each offering a sea or garden view and boasts 6 luxurious Penthouse suites. All rooms are non smoking.

Island View Room - with a King-size bed or two Twin beds and a balcony. Can connect to another room in same category.

Pool View Room - with two (2) Double beds and a balcony.

Ocean View Room - with a King-size bed or two Twin beds and a balcony.

Ocean Front Room - King or Double bed with a pullout sofa bed and a ocean front view. These rooms have a mini fridge and a Jacuzzi on the balcony and are located very close to the beachfront. Can connect to a Junior Suite.

Island View Junior Suite - with a king bed, two (2) double beds or two (2) twin beds and a sofa bed and a balcony. The suite with 2 double beds is good for a family. This room type also connects to a Oceanfront room.

Deluxe Oceanfront Suite - a King bed and a sofa bed open design living room. These rooms come with mini fridges and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. A great view of the Ocean.

Pool View Two Bedroom Suite - best for families with two bedrooms units, each with a private bathroom and connected by a central living room with a sofa bed. These rooms come with mini fridges and a Jacuzzi on the balcony.

One Bedroom Penthouse Suite - Suites are split level ? a living room with a sofa bed and bar area on the lower level and a bedroom accessed by an internal stairway. Upstairs is a bathroom with a Jacuzzi and glass sky-light, shower stall, a double vanity basin and a King-size bed. Not suitable for small children.

State Room - King bed great for a honeymoon.

Ocean Front Suite Two Bedroom - The view in the hotel, king beds in each room with a jacuzzi in one bathroom and shower in the other. Living room over lookein the sea.Balcony the lenght of the room.

Accra Beach Hotel & Resort offers three (3) restaurants catering to a variety of tastes.
The Fig Tree - outdoors in the garden and its diverse menu ranges from tasty soups, salads and sandwiches, to pizzas or a special entr?e of the day.

The Wytukai - offers a unique fusion of authentic Polynesian cuisine and South Sea rhythms, with an idyllic setting.

The Coco Patch Restaurant - near the ocean, serves Buffet breakfast and ? la carte dinner daily, prepared by award winning chefs. Every Monday, there's the Manager?s Cocktail Party on the Coco Patch?s terrace, after which is the delectable Caribbean Buffet.

The Barbecue and Floor Show kicks off every Thursday with Barbadian folklore - limbo, fire-eating, stilt-walking and a live band.

Weddings:
The Khairoon room, The Sand Bar and Wytukai Restaurant vary in size so that they are able to accommodate 25 to 200 guests. The ballroom may be used for the reception and the Pool deck for the service if requested.
